This crochet fashion doll strapless flared dress pattern came from an idea of making a party dress for Ms. Fashionista. She’s just so pretty in pink xD

Materials: ( I used )
2mm crochet hook
Cotton crochet thread: hot pink
Elastic thread
Needle
Scissors
Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc for every first dc of each row/round, so just choose your best technique 🙂
Special stitch used:
V stitch: ( dc, ch1, dc ) into same stitch or space
2dc-V stitch: ( 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc ) into same stitch or space
3dc-V stitch: ( 3 dc, ch1, 3 dc ) into same stitch or space
Skill level: Intermediate
Gauge: 8 double crochet stitches x 4 rows approximately 1 inch ( with materials indicated )
Dress:
( work in rounds )
R1: Ch 36, sl into 1st chain to form round, 36 dc around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R2: 36 dc around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R3 to R11: same as R2
R12: ( dc, skip 1 st, V stitch into next st, skip 1 st ) x 9 times around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R13: ( dc, skip 1 st, 2dc-V stitch into next ch1-space, skip 1 st ) x 9 times around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R14: ( dc, skip 2 sts, 2dc-V stitch into next ch1-space, skip 2 sts ) x 9 times around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R15: ( dc, skip 2 sts, 3dc-V stitch into next ch1-space, skip 2 sts ) x 9 times around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R16: ( dc, skip 3 sts, 3dc-V stitch into next ch1-space, skip 2 sts ) x 9 times around, sl into 1st stitch to join.
R17: same as R16 ( fasten off, weave in end )
Back to R1 of the dress, insert hook and yarn into the 1st ch of R1. Make 16 dc across, hdc into next chain, dec sc into next 2 chains, hdc into next chain, 16 dc across, sl into 1st stitch to join. ( fasten off, weave in end )
From the wrong side, attach elastic thread around R5 of the dress.
