To celebrate this year’s festive season, I designed a beginner-friendly and quick crochet pattern so most crocheters can work up as a last-minute gift. It’s a drawstring hat so you can wear it as a beanie or show off your ponytail/ messy bun.
Even though it’s an easy project, this hat is still a mingle and jingle crochet project since it’s made of shimmering yarn and interwoven post stitches.

Materials: ( I used )
6 mm crochet hook
Aran yarn: and white ( about 100 gr for the sample – adult size/ 50 gr or 150 yds per skein )
Beads: 2
Yarn needle
Scissors
Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into the same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/ round, so just choose your best technique 🙂
The hat is crocheted in rounds, from the bottom up.
This crochet Interwoven Festive hat pattern fits 22 inches head circumference (one size fits most).
