Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/round, so choose your best technique 🙂
This crochet pattern is done by 2 identical front and back parts, seam to join shoulder and body lines.
Special stitches used:
V stitch: ( dc, ch2, dc ) into same stitch or space.
2dc-V stitch: ( 2dc, ch2, 2dc ) into same stitch or space.
3dc-V stitch: ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc ) into same stitch or space.
4dc-V stitch: ( 4dc, ch2, 4dc ) into same stitch or space.

R1: ch 135, dc into 3rd ch from hook ( the first 2ch doesn’t count as 1st dc ), 4 dc into same ch, ch 2, skip 5 ch, *dc into next ch, ch 2, skip 5 ch, 4dc-V stitch into next ch, ch 2, skip 5 ch * repeat ** 10 times across, dc into next ch, ch 2, skip 5 ch, 5 dc into last ch, turn.
R2: 4 dc into 1st st, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, *V stitch into next st, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 3dc-V stitch into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space* repeat ** 10 times across, V stitch into next st, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 4 dc into last st, turn.
R3: 3 dc into 1st st, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, * 2dc-V stitch into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 2dc-V stitch into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space* repeat ** 10 times across, 2dc-V stitch into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 3 dc into last st, turn.

R9: 5 dc into 1st st, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, *dc into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 4dc-V stitch into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space* repeat ** 10 times across, dc into next ch2-space, ch 2, skip next ch2-space, 5 dc into last st, turn.
Repeat (R2 to R9) x 7 times until you reach R57.
- Put front and back parts together, from the wrong side, seam shoulder line with sc ( 33 sts each side )
- Seam body line with sc ( leave 17 rows from the top down for armholes, leave 15 to 18 rows for side slits )
