Little Rottie amigurumi

This crochet little Rottweiler puppy – Little Rottie Amigurumi was made in 2012 as a paid pattern. Now I retired it from my store and offered it for free here xD

Materials: ( I used )
4mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Light weight yarn: mahogany, black and dark brown colors
Cotton thread: mahogany color
Safety eyes
Fiber fill

Abbreviations

Note: You can use any hook size to make this Little Rottie Amigurumi, just choose a yarn type that matches.

Pattern:

Head: using dark brown yarn
R1: form a magic ring, 7 sc, 7 sts
R2: ( inc sc ) x 7 times, 14 sts
R3: (1 sc, inc sc) x 7 times, 21 sts
R4: (inc sc, 2 sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
R5: (3 sc, inc sc) x 7 times, 35 sts
R6: (inc sc, 4 sc) x 7 times, 42 sts
R7: (5 sc, inc sc) x 7 times, 49 sts
R8 to R16: sc around ,49 sts
R17: (5 sc, dec sc) x 7 times, 42 sts
R18: (dec sc, 4 sc) x 7 times, 35 sts
R19: (3 sc, dec sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
R20: (dec sc, 2 sc) x 7 times, 21 sts ( begin stuffing)
R21: (1 sc, dec sc) x 7 times, 14 sts

Muzzle: using mahogany and dark brown yarn
Start with mahogany yarn.
R1: form magic ring, 8 sc, 8 sts
R2: ( inc sc ) x 8 times,16 sts
R3: (1sc, inc) x 8 times, 24 sts
R4: (inc sc, 2 sc) x 8 times, 32 sts
R5: (3 sc, inc sc) x 8 times, 40 sts
R6: (inc sc, 4 sc) x 8 times, 48 sts
R7: (5 sc, inc sc) x 8 times, 56 sts
R8 to R11: sc around, 56 sts
R12: change to dark brown yarn, sc around, 56 sts
R13: sc around, 56 sts
R14: (5 sc, dec sc) x 8 times, 48 sts
R15: (dec sc, 4 sc) x 8 times, 40 sts
R16, 17: sc around, 40 sts
R18: (3 sc, dec sc) x 8 times, 32 sts (fasten off)
Leave long end for sewing.
Embroider nose and mouth with black yarn before stuffing.


Attach muzzle to the lower side of the head, make sure the muzzle looks upturned a bit like following image.

Attach safety eyes, embroider eyebrows with mahogany crochet cotton thread.

Ears: ( make 2), using dark brown yarn.
R1: form a magic ring, 6 sc, 6 sts
R2: (2 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 8 sts
R3: (3 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 10 sts
R4: (4 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 12 sts
R5: (5 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 14 sts
R6: (6 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 16 sts
R7: (7 sc, inc sc) x 2 times, 18 sts
R8 to R13: sc around, 18 sts
R14: (7 sc, dec sc) x 2 times, 16 sts
R15: (6 sc, dec sc) x 2 times, 14 sts
R16: ( dec sc ) x 2 times, 7 sts ( fasten off)
No need to stuff. Leave long end for sewing
Attach to side of the head.

Body: using dark brown yarn
R1: form a magic ring, 7 sc, 7 sts
R2: ( inc sc ) x 7 times, 14 sts
R3: (1 sc, inc sc) x 7 times, 21 sts
R4: (inc sc, 2 sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
R5: (3 sc, inc sc) x 7 times, 35 sts
R6: (inc sc, 4 sc) repeat 7 times, 42 sts
R7 to R21: sc around, 42 sts
R22: (4 sc, dec sc) x 7 times, 35 sts
Rnd 23: (dec sc, 3 sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
Rnd 24: (2 sc, dec sc) x 7 times, 21 sts ( stuff and fasten off)
Leave long end for sewing.
Attach to back of the muzzle part.

Legs: ( make 4), using yellow and dark brown yarn, (work in join rounds from R1 to R9).
R1: form a magic ring, 6 sc, 6 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R2: ( inc sc ) x 6 times, 12 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R3: (1 sc, inc sc) x 6 times, 18 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R4: (2 sc, inc sc) x 6 times, 24 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R5 and R6: sc around, 24 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R7: 6 sc, 6 dec sc, 6 sc, total 18 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R8: sc around, 18 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R9: change to brown yarn, sc around, 18 sts, sl into 1 st to join, ch1
R10 to R14: sc around, 18 sts
R15: (1 sc, dec sc) x 6 times, 12 sts
R16: (dec sc) x 6 times, 6 sts ( stuff firmly at the paws part, lightly at the thigh, fasten off)
Leave long end for sewing. Attach to side of the body.

Tail: using dark brown yarn.
R1: form a magic ring, 5 sc, 5 sts
R2: 3 inc sc, 2 sc, total 8 sts
R3 to R7: sc around, 8 sts ( fasten off)
No need to stuff. Leave long end for sewing
Attach to back of the body.
