Here’s my little crochet project for this Valentine. A crochet bee amigurumi with a little winged heart xD.

Materials: ( I used )
2.75mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Sport weight yarn: black, pink, white
Safety eyes
Fiber fill

Abbreviations

Note: You can use any hook size to make this crochet Bee amigurumi, just choose a yarn type that matches.

Bee:

Head & Body: using black and pink yarn.

Start with pink yarn.

R1: form a magic ring, 7 sc into ring, total 7 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R2: ( inc sc ) x 7 times, total 14 st. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R3: ( sc, inc sc ) x 7 times, total 21 st. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R4: ( inc sc, 2 sc ) x 7 times, total 28 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R5: ( 3 sc, inc sc ) x 7 times, total 35 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R6: ( inc sc, 4 sc ) x 7 times, total 42 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R7: ( 5 sc, inc sc ) x 7 times, total 49 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R8 to R15: sc around, 49 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R16: change to black yarn, sc around, 49 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R17 and R18: sc around, 49 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R19: change to pink yarn, sc around, 49 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R20: ( 5 sc, dec sc ) x 7 times, total 42 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R21: sc around, 42 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R22: change to black yarn, sc around, 42 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R23: ( 4 sc, dec sc ) x 7 times, total 35 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R24: change to pink yarn, sc around, 35 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R25: ( 3 sc, dec sc ) x 7 times, total 28 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R26: sc around, 28 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R27: change to black yarn, ( 2 sc, dec sc ) x 7 times, total 21 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R28: change to pink yarn, sc around, 21 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1. ( begin stuffing )

R29: ( sc, dec sc ) x 7 times, total 14 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1.

R30: sc around, 14 sts. Sl into 1st stitch to join, ch1. ( stuff firmly )

R31: ( dec sc ) x 7 times, total 7 sts. ( fasten off, weave in ends )

 

Wings: using white and pink yarn

Heart: using pink yarn, same as the Flying heart applique pattern.

Crochet 2 wings with white yarn, insert hook  into the 4th st from the last slip stitch of the heart.

R1: 5 sc across, 5 sts, turn.

R2: ( sc, hdc ) into 1 st stitch, ( dc, tr ) into next stitch, 3 dtr into next stitch, ( tr, dc ) into next stitch, ( hdc, sc ) into last stitch. ( fasten off, weave in ends )

Repeat at other side.

Attach safety eyes to the head.

Attach wings to the back of the body.

There you go!
