Let’s start a new creative year with this quick and easy crochet pattern. The V-neck tunic top is designed with simple double crochet stitches, crocheted in 3 different colors, and added a finishing touch of ribbon on the front.

Materials: ( I used )
3mm crochet hook
Sport weight yarn: white ( color A ), jeans blue ( color B ), and dark blue ( color C ) ( about 300 gr for the sample – size L/ 50 gr or 136 yds per skein )

Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into the same stitch (counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/ round, so just choose your best technique 🙂
This crochet Blue striped tunic pattern fits size XL ( chest size: 40 to 42 inches )
( Suggestion: 2 skeins of color A, 3 skeins of color B, 2 skeins of color C, a total of 7 skeins of material indicated )
Skill level: Easy
Gauge: 12 double crochet stitches x 5 rows approximately 2 inches ( with materials indicated )

Start with color A yarn,
R1: Ch162, dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc across, total 160 sts, turn.
R2: dc across, turn.
R3 to R14: same as R2.
Change to color B yarn,
R15: dc across, turn.
R16 to R28: same as R15.
Change to color C yarn,
R29: dc across, turn.
R30 and R31: same as R29.
Change to color B yarn,
R32: dc across, turn.
R33 and R34: same as R32.

Use a big needle, and thread ribbon lace pattern on the front line as you want.
Weave in all ends.
