This crochet cupcake pincushion pattern is a cute decor on your sewing table and a tiny container to store some buttons and little crafty things.

Materials: (I used)
Crochet hooks: 4 mm and 2 mm
Light weight/ DK yarn: white, dark brown, beige
Scissors
Embroidery floss: brown
Yarn needle
Fiberfill
Note: This crochet pattern can be made with any hook size, just choose a yarn type that matches your hook.
Pattern:
Cake: using a 4 mm crochet hook, dark brown and beige yarn (join round: slip stitch into 1st st of each round, ch 1)
R1: magic ring, 7 sc, 7 sts
R2: inc x 7 times, 14 sts
R3: (sc, inc) x 7 times, 21 sts
R4: (inc, 2sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
R5: (3sc, inc) x 7 times, 35 sts
R6: (inc, 4 sc) x 7 times, 42 sts
R7: work with back-loops only, hdc around, 42 sts
R8 to R11: hdc around, 42 sts
R12: change to beige yarn, sc around, 42 sts
R13: work with back-loops only, (3dc into same st, sc into next st) repeat ’till marker, total 84 sts (fasten off)
Frosting: Using a 4 mm crochet hook, white yarn
R1: magic ring, 7 sc, 7 sts
Work all with back-loops from R2 to R5
R2: inc x 7 times, 14 sts
R3: (sc, inc) x 7 times, 21 sts
R4: (inc, 2sc) x 7 times, 28 sts
R5: (3sc, inc) x 7 times, 35 sts
Back to normal sc from R6 ’till the end.
R6 to R11: sc around, 35 sts
R12: (3sc, dec) x 7 times, 28 sts
R13: (dec, 2 sc) x 7 times, 21 sts (begin stuffing)
R14: (sc, dec) x 7 times, 14 sts
R15: dec x 7 times, 7 sts (fasten off)
Use a 2mm crochet hook and brown embroidery floss to sc around the spiral surface (which was made by working all with back-loops from R2 to R5)
Finish it!

Put on a rose frosting then you’ll get a rosy cupcake.
