Materials:(I used)
5mm crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn: green, red, pink…
Scissors
Yarn needle

Abbreviations

Note: You can use any hook size to crochet this rose, just choose a yarn type that matches.

728 X 90

Pattern:

Rose:
Make a chain of 39, crochet 4 dc into the 3rd chain from hook,
Skip 2 chain, crochet 5 dc into the next chain (repeat ’till end)
Turn, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into next st (repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into next st to join (you have just finish a petal now)
Sl into next st, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into next st ( repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into next st to join (repeat ’till end) (fasten off, leave long end for sewing)
A finished rose has 12 petals.

Roll the first petal, hold it tight then wrap the next petals around.
Make it abit looser each round, dispart the petals for a better result.
Sew the petals together.

Leaf:
Ch 11, sc into 2nd chain from hook, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, hdc, sc
Turn, sc, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, hdc, sc (fasten off)
Attach to the rose.

    I love this pattern but I come put with either 11 petals or 13 petals the second slip stitch in second row confuses me any help appreciated thank u
