Materials: ( I used )
4 mm crochet hook
Light weight/ DK yarn: pink, light pink, green
Yarn needle
Scissors
Note: You can use any hook size for this crochet rose of Spring pattern, just choose a yarn type that matches.
Skill level: Intermediate
Pattern:
Rose:
Start with color A yarn,
R1: Ch 40, dc into 4th ch from hook ( first 3 chains count as 1st dc ), 4 dc into next ch, * skip 2 ch, 5 dc into next ch * repeat ** 11 times across, turn.
R2: Ch1, sc into 1st st, ( hdc, dc ) into next st, 2 dc into next st, ( dc, hdc ) into next st, sc into next st. *Sc into next st, ( hdc, dc ) into next st, 2 dc into next st, ( dc, hdc ) into next st, sc into next st* repeat ** 11 times across, turn.
R3: Change to color B yarn, ch1, sc into 1st st, ( 2 sc into next st ) x repeat 6 times, sc into next st. * Sc into next st, ( 2 sc into next st ) x repeat 6 times, sc into next st * repeat ** 11 times across ( fasten off, weave in ends )
- Roll the first petal, hold it tight then wrap the next petals around.
Make it a bit looser each round, dispart the petals for a better result.
Sew the petals together.
Leaf:
Ch12, sc into 2nd ch from hook, hdc into next ch, 2 dc across, 3 tr across, 2 dc across, hdc into next ch, sc into last ch, ch1.
Continue at the other side , sc into 1st ch, hdc into next ch, 2 dc across, 3 tr across, 2 dc across, hdc into next ch, sc into last ch, sl into 1st st. ( fasten off, weave in ends )
- Attach to the rose.
