Crochet abbreviations: ( US crochet terms )

Ch = Chain

St(s) = Stitch(es)

Sl = Slip stitch

Sc = Single crochet

Inc = Increase

Dec = Decrease

Inc sc = 2 single crochet in same stitch

Dec sc = Single crochet 2 stitches together

Hdc= Half double crochet

Dec hdc= Half double crochet 2 stitches together

Inc hdc= 2 half double crochet in same stitch

Dc = Double crochet

Inc dc = 2 double crochet in same stitch

Dec dc = Double crochet 2 stitches together

Tr = Triple crochet

Dtr = Double triple crochet

Inc tr = 2 triple crochet in same stitch

Dec tr = Triple crochet 2 stitches together

Fpsc = Front post single crochet

Bpsc = Back post single crochet

Fpdc = Front post double crochet

Bpdc = Back post double crochet

Fptr = Front post triple crochet

Bptr = Back post triple crochet

Fpdtr = Front post double triple crochet

Bpdtr = Back post double triple crochet

    I’m working on the shawl ccir-collar vest and would like to learn the “chainless dc for every dc of each row instead of ch 3” technique.
    I’m am really enjoying tis pattern — very easy to read and follow — great job!!!
