Crochet Delicate top

Crochet Delicate top

Summertime is time for lacy and bright cover-up tops!

Consequently, I created this oversized kaftan top made by fine cotton yarn and lacy crochet stitches. A classic flattering outfit with V-neck line and loose style to throw on.

Abbreviations

Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into same stitch ( counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/ round, so just choose your best technique 🙂

This crochet pattern is done by 2 identical pieces, seam to join front/ back lines and side lines.

Special stitch used:

2dc-V stitch: ( 2dc, ch2, 2dc ) into same stitch or space

3dc shell stitch: 3dc into same stitch or space

How do I increase this beautiful to a XL size. I really would like to make this but I just can’t fit into a large. I really need a XL-XXL.
    Thanks so much,
    Brenda

I am definitely a size small (4’11”, 105lbs). Do you think I could carry off this medium size? I really love this pattern!!
