Crochet pointed hem topper

Crochet pointed hem topper

I’m into the elegant and effortless touches of asymmetrical hem tunic. Those pointed hem tops and tees are often created by stylish cut-out but a very loose and oversized topper also lays flattering handkerchief-hem longer at the sides. That means I can design one easy crochet pattern and here it is xD

Note: I used chainless starting dc/ tr for every first dc/tr of each round/row instead of ch 3/ ch 4. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2/ ch 3, dc/ tr into same stitch ( counted as 1st dc/ tr). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc/ tr into 1st stitch for every first dc/ tr of each round/ row, so just choose your best technique ๐Ÿ™‚

This crochet pattern is done by 2 identical front and back parts, seam to join shoulder and body lines.

Special stitch used: 5dc shell stitch ( 5 dc into same stitch or space )

This crochet pointed hem topper pattern fits size XL ( chest size: 40 to 42 inches )

Skill level: Easy

Gauge: 6 double crochet stitches x 3 rows approximately 1 inch ( with materials indicated )

I like your pattern. it works up pretty fast. I’ve gone wrong somewhere on my ending rows, so need to redo. I have found though that the starting chain should be 168, otherwise you end with 3 dc against last 2 chains.
