Like an iconic outfit for sunny days – a sundress can be found in every girl’s wardrobe. This sleeveless and flared bottom crocheted dress is made of vibrant-colored, self-striping cotton yarn. I designed it with simple crochet stitches so most crocheters can give it a try.

Materials: ( I used )
3mm crochet hook
Sport weight yarn: Salmon, pink, and lilac shade ( about 500 gr for the sample – size L/ 150 gr or 656 yds per skein )

Yarn needle
Scissors
Note: I used chainless starting dc for every first dc of each row/ round instead of ch 3. There’s another good crochet technique to use is ch 2, dc into the same stitch (counted as 1st dc). In the pattern below you’ll see I simply state dc into 1st stitch for every first dc of each row/ round, so choose your best technique 🙂
Special stitches used:
V stitch: ( dc, ch1, dc ) into same stitch or space.
2dc- V stitch: ( 2dc, ch1, 2dc ) into same stitch or space.
This crochet Enchanted sundress pattern fits size L ( chest size: 36 to 38 inches )

I figured it out now, thank you
Yay! Can’t wait to see your lovely dress!
Ok thanks, for the repeat rounds (42 – 49 of S/M) it just looked like it was expanding too much, too quickly so that’s why I asked. Thanks for the speedy response!
Here’s where I am so far on the dress: http://ravel.me/n3se/j0pbx
As I see, you forgot to skip the stitches as pattern stated. That’s why it’s expanding too much.
Just to be sure…. when we do the 2dc across that’s before and after the 2dc-V stitch, we’re making those 2 stitches in each stitch and not a 2dc Dec cluster stitch in each stitch, right?
I hope that makes sense lol
Yeah, I meant 2 dc into next 2 sts 🙂
I just love it! It is in my que!!
This dress is so pretty! I really like the design. It is very easy pattern. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent in designing this dress. I’m going to be making this dress very soon. I have been crocheting for 39 years and have never made anything for myself. This year I’m going to be making myself a few things. This is definitely one of the pieces I will be making.
Feel free to share your finished project on my Fanpage 😀
How did you get it to stripe like that with approximately 3 balls used??
I just followed the yarn flow 🙂
